Guiding Texans Through The Legal Process With Skill And Care Since 1985
Biography
Raised in the Texas Hill Country and originally from Marble Falls, Texas, I developed an early appreciation for the values of hard work, community, and perseverance that continue to shape my approach to the practice of law. After graduating from Marble Falls High School, I attended the University of Denver on a Division I Women’s Basketball scholarship while earning a bachelor’s degree in International Studies. My academic focus centered on the intersection of governmental and nongovernmental institutions in addressing the diplomatic, economic, and security challenges created by globalization. Through this work, I developed a strong interest in the law as a critical framework for effective and equitable conflict resolution.
My interest in international relations led me to Seville, Spain, where I studied Spanish language and culture. Following graduation, I returned to Madrid to teach English and work alongside a civil litigation attorney, an experience that deepened my understanding of the law’s practical role in resolving complex disputes at the local level.
Upon returning to Texas, I continued pursuing my interest in civil litigation by working for two highly skilled litigators in Austin, an experience that further strengthened my passion for advocacy and dispute resolution. During law school, I served as an Articles Editor for Volume 49 of the Texas Tech Law Review. I also studied at Charles University in Prague, where I participated in moot court competitions and examined global issues surrounding wrongful convictions and access to justice.
My studies reinforced the importance of effective legal representation for underserved populations and led me to intern with, and later join, the Texas Indigent Defense Commission. There, I contributed to efforts aimed at protecting the Sixth Amendment rights of defendants across Texas. Although I valued this public service work, my long-term commitment to advocacy ultimately drew me back to civil litigation.
For nearly eight years, I have practiced with Wright & Greenhill, P.C., where I am proud to work alongside a highly respected team of advocates. Over the course of my practice, I have developed extensive experience representing clients in complex civil litigation matters while maintaining a strong commitment to strategic, client-focused advocacy.
